ASSOULINE Comporta Bliss Hardcover Book by Carlos Souza

Comporta Bliss captures the Portuguese fishing village sometimes compared to the Saint-Tropez of the 1950s, with its beaches, rice paddies and relaxed artistic community. The book explores the rustic cabanas and thatched-roof homes that blur the line between inside and out. Authors Carlos Souza and Charlene Shorto have spent years in the region.

• Homes of Comporta, from cabanas to thatched-roof huts
